The Team

Who are we? Well, in the simplest terms, we are a group of lifelong friends whose passion is first and foremost a love of tabletop role-playing games. We have been playing together since we were kids, and now 30+ years later we still find ourselves around the table rolling dice. We’ve played everything from Advanced Dungeons & Dragons ( 2nd Edition ), Pathfinder, and Pathfinder 2E to Star Wars, Starfinder, and Call of Cthulhu. You name it and we have at least read it or played it at some point in our lives. It’s what we love to do more than anything else and gaming as a whole made us a family.

Recently, we all sat down and started looking at the worlds we have played in and the characters we have created over the years. We decided it was time to share these creations with the world and so Red Sash Publishing was born! So grab a horn of ale, settle next to the fireside, and join us as we take you with us on our journey to bring new worlds and legends from imagination to reality!

Trent Raber

I’ve been an avid gamer for most of my life. From video games to tabletop role-playing games, my passion and happiness lie in using my imagination to ascend into unknown worlds, strapping a sword at my side, or using powerful abilities of the mind to slay my foes and save those that cannot save themselves! Gaming has made me who I am and gave me the friends and family that have lasted a lifetime.

Robert VanZile

I was born a grumpy old man with a job and a mortgage.  Then I found gaming, which still left me old and grumpy but now with a hobby and a group of friends that have become brothers.  I have been playing since 1989 it is easier to name the games I haven’t played than to name the ones I have.  Finally coming full circle and recreating some of the games and worlds that we played together in the beginning.  Here we go.

Jonathan Etzwiler

My love of fantasy and high adventure started with the Hobbit and LOTR trilogy, mixing in Robert E Howard’s Conan, and voila, I obtain a lifelong addiction.  I started playing TSR’s Dungeons & Dragons in 1983 and have continued to play all the subsequent editions through the years, in addition to a myriad of other tabletop RPGs.  I’m here today because of two relentless pains-in-the-ass, who insisted I take nearly 30 years of gaming and world creation and make something of it.
